A few months ago the thought of the Dallas Cowboys playing a meaningful game late in the season was a silly idea, let alone playing in the playoffs and clinching the division. Jason Garrett seat was hotter than my girlfriend, Dak was average at best, and the receiving core was worse than a Taco Bell poop.
But now, the Cowboys are playoff bound after clinching the worse division in the league, but still made the playoffs. This may sound stupid, but I think the Cowboys could in fact win it all. They have a monster a running back in Zeke, a qb that is being a good game manager, and defense that is hungry. These three things make up teams that could win playoff games (look at the Seahawks with marshawn). Something feels special, but as a lifelong Cowboy fan I know I will be let down. I am going to ride this feeling until they lose, prob first round per usual, but I can’t help to feel a little excited.
