Hot take: Who Houston should but won’t hire

Art Briles has to be a guy at least kicked around for the head Houston job. He brought UH into relevancy years ago before he took the Baylor job.

The baggage (might have the most in college football) might be worth it to the UH fan base that is used winning since he arrives and even after his departure.

Has enough time pasted since the allegations at Baylor? Who knows, but their is no denying he belongs on a sideline coaching with his offensive mind.

Most schools would touch him with a 10 foot pole, but if I was UH I would bring him in for an interview (they hired his son, who recently took the OC job at Florida State).

Worth a shot to see if any interest, but we all know they won’t pull the trigger on the controversial hire but worth talking about.
