Carmelo Anthony’s Trade to Bulls

Welp, this trade was pretty pointless other than the Rockets got rid of diva Carmelo. Carmelo wants to join a team where he will be a contributor. Carmelo has been a shell of himself for a long time, and now he is a Chicago Bull.

The Bulls, actually do not ever plan to let Melo touch the court for the franchise. They intend on holding him with the intention of trading him before the Feb. 7th trade deadline or waving him if they are not able to flip him for anything.

Maybe he still has something in the tank and could help a contender, but the Rockets thought other wise. Maybe he ends back up in Texas with the Dallas Mavericks to possibly add another threat to Luka, but I think the Mavs are good with being young and on the Cusp of being a playoff team. The fewer games the bottom teams win means the possibility of a better pick, so I don’t see anyone where he could contribute trading young talent for his services.

Melo used to be considered up there with the top 5 players in the league and now he can not even step on a court. Someone will give him a chance, but if he does not settle for a diminished role he might be done playing for the association.
