- Virginia – I chose them to reach my final in my bracket and I will stay with the selection. I think they are now the front runners in the tourney. They arent the sexiest team or coolest team in the country, but they have been quietly getting the job done and that is what March (now April is about). They face off against Auburn on Saturday.
- Speaking of Auburn… They are the 2nd best team in left in the tourney. I thought they would stumble to Kentucky over the weekend and they proved me wrong. I thought they would lose to Kansas and North Carolina as well and they just keep winning. So don’t be surprised if Virginia loses to the Tigers Saturday night.
- Michigan State- They beat Duke. That should put them in the top 2, but I think my top 2 will beat them in the finals. Michigan State was just causally blowing out teams as the 2 seed in Dukes bracket waiting for that meeting and they got it and capitalized. They must ride this momentum to be Texas Tech.
- Texas Tech- I can not rank a team that lost to Baylor by double digits this season any higher than 4th on this list. They are great team and if they weren’t they wouldn’t be here, but I think they stumble out of the game to MSU. If it is close in the 2nd half I say the Red Raiders win.
