Dallas Stars Clinch Playoff Birth

I have been so wrapped up in the start of baseball season I forgot to write an important article. The Dallas Stars clinched a playoff spot this season. This is the first time to the postseason since 2016. They have battled adversity all season long to finally clinch the berth.

Benn Left and Seguin Right

Early in the season the two stars of the team (Benn, Seguin) were called out for their poor play by the team’s CEO. They over came this, Seguin most notably is leading the team in points with 77, goals with 31 and assists with 46. More drama at the trade deadline happened and they got their guy Zuccarello. This dude is a stud. And for the short time on the ice for Dallas he was. He was out from 2/24 til 4/2 for a broken arm and just took a puck off the arm and is listed as Day-to-Day.

The Stars are either going to the playoffs as a wild card team or a slim chance of clinching the last spot in the central. The last central spot would be ideal, but it hockey and anything can happen if they are one of the 2 wildcard teams.

There are 2 games to go in the season then post season hockey comes to Dallas. Hopefully my schedule lines up so I can go. There are very little things more intense then playoff hockey. I went to game 7 of the Western Conference finals in 2016 and it was one of the coolest events I have been to live.
