On Sunday me and Sam spent the entire day over where the 2012 Olympics where held. We did the Yankee game and the longest tube slide in the world!
The tube slide was the first thing that we did and it was awesome. I think Sam screamed the loudest and most out of everyone there, but I think she had as much as me if not more!
I think I need to invest in these quidditch helmets. They really tie any outfit together I think. We got the GoPro videos of our slides, but I can’t upload them on the phone sadly.
We got out to the game early for batting practice. We didn’t catch any balls but it was still really fun to watch these guys easily hit it over the shortened wall in the stadium.
The game was of course awesome seeing the Yankees and Red Sox play in person and they good guys won both games in the series to get an 11 game lead over the Red Sox (sorry Keelo). We got to see DiDi go yard to extend the HR streak to 31 games. This line up is truly amazing to watch. Hopefully it will produce in October.
Our seats were actually better than we thought. We had row 9 behind the Yankee bullpen, but it turns out rows 1-7 didn’t exist so we were 2nd row and it was great. I got Larry Rothschild (Yankee pitching coach) to sign my ticket and got to shake Aroldis Chapman’s hand during the game.
Now day 3 in London is the last one. We are doing the Thames rockets tour, lunch with Sam’s aunt and uncle and just exploring around to see the sights.
